As a painter trained at the Art Institute of Chicago and based in Santa Barbara, California, I work primarily with acrylics on canvas and in mixed media assemblages. I also create sculptures, drawings, and custom commissions in various styles, though my personal style is unmistakably my own. Each piece I create is infused with my vision, inspired by life’s encounters, memories, and dreams. My art is my way of life now. Staying positive, open-minded, and centered is central to my creative philosophy. Practicing mindfulness and following the teachings of David R. Hawkins and others, I strive to remain mentally active and physically well. Art, water, sports, exercise, and clarity of my thoughts are essential in my life. Through bold colors, taking chances, and engaging subject matter, I use my work to express my appreciation for life, nature, and the people around me who inspire me. My art often reflects my thoughts on the environment and personal connections, serving as a visual diary of what I believe in and hold dear.What You Can Expect from My Work
